Casey Stoner wins 2009 Australian MotoGP

As a proud sponsor of Casey Stoner, we are pleased to announce that he won his 3rd consecutive Australian MotoGP title at Phillip Island over the weekend, rising to overall third place in the championship after missing three races. He defeated Italian rider Valentino Rossi, who is defending his world championship title, by just under two seconds in an exhilarating win, reaching speeds of 320km/h on the 4.5 kilometre circuit.
In conjunction with Swann’s sponsorship of the Fox Sports telecast of this year’s MotoGP season, we held a competition to win 5 weekend trips for two to Phillip Island to experience the atmosphere at this year’s race.
