Terms and Conditions

1.    Information on eligibility for the Promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Customers not complying with these Terms and Conditions will not be eligible for the Promotion.
 
2.    The Promotion commences at 12.00 am AEST on Friday 15th October 2010 and closes at 11.59 pm AEST on Sunday 17th October 2010 (“Promotion Period”). The Promoter is Swann Insurance (Aust.) Pty. Ltd of Level 14, 181 William Street, Melbourne, 3000 ABN 80 000 866 680, AFSL 238292 (“Promoter”).

3.    Participation in the Promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who, during the Promotion Period, purchase a Motorcycle Comprehensive Insurance Policy underwritten by the Promoter (“Policy”) from the Promoter's stand located at the AMCN GP Expo at the 2010 IVECO Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (the “Event”), Phillip Island, Victoria (“Customer”).

4.    Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, participating agents and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to participate in the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each claim. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the claim process. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly at the Promoter's stand may be deemed by the Promoter as an invalid claim.

5.    To be eligible, a customer must, during the Promotion Period, purchase and then maintain for no less than twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, a Policy from the Promoter at the Promoter's stand at the AMCN GP Expo at the Event in accordance with the underwriting criteria applicable to the policy. For the Promotion to be valid, the Customer must not cancel or terminate the Policy within twelve (12) months of its purchase in accordance with this clause.  Each Customer who purchases a Policy from the Promoter in accordance with Clauses 3 and 5 will be provided with one (1) free one (1) year Tyre & Rim Insurance policy (free policy). The free policy is allocated to the vehicle listed on the Policy schedule. The free policy is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. Details of the free policy will be provided at the Event. A formal free policy schedule will be sent to each Customer within fourteen (14) days of the acquisition of the free policy, to an address within Australia as provided by the Customer to the Promoter at the time of purchasing the Motorcycle Comprehensive Insurance Policy. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.

6.    The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the free policy if the Policy is cancelled by the Customer within twelve (12) months of its purchase. Terms and conditions of the Promotion are subject to change without prior notice.

7.    By entering this Promotion, each Customer consents, unless the Customer informs the Promoter that such consent is not given, to the retention and use of his / her information by the Promoter. For details about who we are, how we may use your information and what your rights are under the privacy laws, please see our Privacy Policy, which is available at http://www.swanninsurance.com.au. Uses may include future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant, or distribution of marketing materials for goods or services in the insurance industry from the Promoter or from companies in the insurance industry in which the Promoter holds shares. From time to time we may send you information or offers on other Promoter products which may be relevant and of interest to you.
