Can I downgrade my motorcycle cover during this time?

Yes you can. We strongly recommend maintaining cover on your motorcycle in case the unexpected happens, however should you wish to downgrade your cover please call us on 13RIDE (137433) to discuss your options.

Can I suspend my policy during this time (also known as layup cover)?

Unfortunately we do not offer layup cover.

I am using my Motorcycle less than usual. Am I entitled to a cheaper premium?

Unfortunately we do not offer polices based on low usage or low kilometres.

Can I change the date my insurance direct debit will come out?

Yes. If you are paying your policy on monthly instalments we can help you with this. We can defer your instalments up to 60 days from the initial instalment date. Please note you will need to pay both instalments on the deferred date. Please call us on 13RIDE (137433) to discuss your options.

My policy is about to renew and I cannot pay, what are my options?

If your policy is paid annually and you have not reached your renewal date we can:

  • Apply up to a 2 week extension; or
  • Change your policy to a monthly instalment
  • We do not charge extra for pay by the month on our Motorcycle Insurance policies. Please call us on 13RIDE (137433) to discuss your options.

    Will my Roadside Assistance be affected?

    Our Personal & Roadside Assistance team remains on the road. If you have Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance and have chosen the optional benefit of Personal and Roadside Assistance, please call 1800 767 766 at any time 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

    Will Coronavirus cause delays to my claim processing?

    Our call centre is fully operational and is safely working to ensure minimal impacts to customers during this time.

    Are motorbike assessments and repairs still occurring?

    We are working hard to keep customer disruptions minimal, and our claims assessors continue to carry out appointments within safety guidelines.
